Port Colborne Family Dentistry is a brand-new practice serving patients from Welland, Dain City and across South Niagara. We're located just south of Welland in downtown Port Colborne, about a 15-minute drive down Highway 140, and we built this clinic specifically to give Niagara families a modern, gentle alternative for their everyday dental care.
Welland has well-established dental clinics, but most are running at capacity, and many aren't accepting new patients. We are. We're open evenings and weekends, including Saturdays, which is rare in the area, and we direct-bill the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) for eligible patients. If you're a Welland resident who's been told your usual dentist has a months-long wait, or you simply want care that fits around work and school, we'd love to meet you.
Our dentist, Dr. Gaurav Dadhich (DDS, BDS), is a family dentist who treats every age, from your child's first tooth to your grandparent's denture fitting, under one roof. We work hard to keep visits calm, clear and on-schedule, with no surprise costs and no upselling.

Driving Directions from Welland
From central Welland, take Niagara Street south to Highway 140 (East Main Street). Follow Highway 140 south through Dain City, it becomes Highway 58 as you approach Port Colborne. Stay on Highway 58 until you reach Clarence Street in downtown Port Colborne. Turn right onto Clarence Street and we're at number 99, just past the Welland Canal. Parking is available on-site.
From Welland South or Dain City, the drive is even shorter, typically 8–12 minutes via Forks Road and Highway 58. There's free parking in front of the clinic, and we're easy to find right in downtown Port Colborne with the canal as a clear landmark.
If you're coming from Welland by transit, Niagara Region Transit Route 25 connects Welland and Port Colborne with a stop a short walk from our clinic.
About Welland
Welland is the heart of Niagara's Rose City, with a population of about 55,000 and a rich industrial and recreational history along the Welland Canal. Many of our patients come from neighbourhoods around Niagara College, Memorial Park, Chippawa Park and the historic downtown core.
We see a lot of patients from Dain City, the historic neighbourhood that sits between Welland and Port Colborne, for these residents, we're often the closest full-service dental option. The drive down Highway 58 takes just a few minutes and avoids the busier Welland traffic.
Port Colborne sits right at the south end of the Welland Canal where it meets Lake Erie, so many Welland residents are already familiar with the area from summer visits to H.H. Knoll Lakeview Park, Sugarloaf Marina or the canal-front events. Our clinic is steps from the historic West Street boardwalk.
